What this app does:
This app will allow you to try augmented reality using your phone or tablet device. By pointing the camera towards a recognized marker (see below for info) additional information will be shown on the screen that would otherwise not be available to the user. For example 3D models can be shown on top of blueprints, sensor data and trend history can be shown and external data can be fetched and displayed, such as Twitter messages.

How to use the app:
Start the app and point it at one of the recognized markers (see below for info). Each marker will show a different result. The ABB logo will show a RSS and Twitter reader with the latest news about ABBs control system 800xA. The "I want an xA" will be printed on coffee cups with a built in Bluetooth sensor for measuring the temperature. By pointing the camera at the logo you will get diagrams of the coffee temperature. If you do not have access to the special Bluetooth coffee cup, the temperature will still be shown but it will be using simulated values. The final tracker image is an image of an plant from above, when viewed in the phone you will get a 3D model of the plant, you can zoom in and out by moving the actual phone as well as look at the factory from different directions just by moving the phone around the image.

Supported tracker images and how to get them:
The app supports the following three images, either display them on your computer or print them. Then simply start this app and point the camera towards the tracker image.
